It is now Thursday (CD24) but by BBT has not risen - it has in fact been going down! What is happening and is there still a chance I can ovulate since my BBT hasn’t shifted? My FP/Ovulation has been all over the place though, so literally I measure OPK 2 times a day just to make sure I don't miss it. The range has been 18-37 days for ovulation - yup, that's a lot of OPKs!The egg could drop anywhere from 12-48+ hours after you get your last +OPK. And, to make it more confusing, sometimes your body can ramp up, have the LH surge (you get a +OPK) and then for some ...It is now Thursday (CD24) but by BBT has not risen - it has in fact been going down! What is happening and is there still a chance I can ovulate since my BBT hasn’t shifted? My BBT cycle last month indicated a temp shift immediately after ovulation on CD20 (didn’t use OPK last month). I’m quite worried I didn’t ovulate this month. My bbt dropped this morning and Iv had ovulation pains all day, so that would predict that Iv ovulated today- as long as I have a temp rise tomorrow which I’m expecting going by last months chart. But on my clearblue opk Iv got flashing smiley no static yet. If it goes static tomorrow that will say ovulation within 24-48 hours.It looks to me like, according to BBT, you O'd on the 2nd of Nov. But the OPK says the 4th.. I think. If it was the 2nd then you may not have BDed within the time frame. A bit over 90% of cycles with a positive OPK are ultimately ovulatory (but not necessarily the day after the positive OPK, as the conventional wisdom would tell you).
